The Ross S. Sterling Stars & JV Sapphires will be holding their annual Stage Show, “A Year To Remember” April 26th at 7pm and April 27th at 2pm in the Auditorium at Sterling HS. Admission is $10 and tickets can only be purchased online at
www.gccisd.net/page/Athletics.Ticket The show will feature the Stars, JV Sapphires, RSS Dance Department, and Gentry & CBJ Junior High Classes. The Sterling Star Booster Club will be sponsoring a silent auction, flower sales, merchandise & program sales and the famous Star Cookies. Please make plans to attend and support our Stars & Sapphires as they perform for the last time during the 2023-2024 School Year. |

Sterling Stars Contest Results - ADTS @ Goose Creek Memorial
This past weekend the Sterling Stars attended their first competition of the 2024 Season. They competed with American Dance/Drill Team at the Houston Regional Competition at Goose Creek Memorial and did an outstanding job. The Stars received a Sweepstakes awards on all dances – which means division 1 ratings with scores of 90 or above from all judges on all routines. They were also named Best in Class Team and Officer Line! Our JV team the Sapphires also received a division 1 rating on their Pom. . What a way to kick off the season, and it was a joy to watch them dance with such passion and energy each time they took the floor! The full list of results is below.

Crowdpleaser’s at Grand Oaks
This past weekend the Sterling Stars attended their first competition of the 2023 Season. They competed with Crowdpleaser’s Dance at Grand Oaks High School, and once again did a phenomenal job. The girls were named Best in Class for Team, as well overall Grand Champion Team for the entire competition against teams from across the state of Texas. What a way to kick off the season, and it was a joy to watch them dance with such passion and energy each time they took the floor! The full list of results is below.

Sign Up For Dance!
Course Registration for the 2024-2025 School year will be here before you know it! Make sure to sign your student up for DANCE at both Junior High and High School Level! It counts for Fine Arts &/or PE Credit! Whichever you need! You don't have to be on the drill team to DANCE in HIGH SCHOOL! It can just be one of your daily electives - and you can be an athlete, cheerleader, musician, AP student, academy member, and still get dance credit and get to perform without joining the team! We hope to see you in our classes next fall! See the attached flyer for more information! It's not to LATE!! Have your parents contact your counselor to change you to dance class!
